"Toto Malaysia games from the Magnum Corp, Sports Toto, Da Ma Cai & Sabah 88"
Playing the lottery is an incredibly popular activity right throughout Malaysia where – the same as in Singapore – Malaysia Lottery games are primarily known as Toto and are comprised mainly of games of 3 Digits and 4 Digits.
These games are generally abbreviated to 3D and 4D and are collectively referred to as Toto Malaysia. They are very similar in structure to the highly popular games of Pick 3 and Pick 4 that are offered by the vast majority of USA Lottery companies.
There are 4 main Toto Malaysia companies that offer these games and they are the Magnum Corporation whose principal offering is the Magnum 4D, SportsToto where the most popular game is the Toto 4D, the Pan Malaysia Pools with a primary Toto called Da Ma Cai 1 3D and Lotto88 which offers both 3D & 4D games plus a more traditional 6 45 Malaysia Lottery called the Sabah Lotto.
Malaysia 4D games can trace their history as far back as 1951 when the very first unofficial Malaysia Toto games were offered which then became incredibly popular until the first official 4D Toto was introduced by the Singapore Turf Club in May 1966.
The Magnum Corporation began operations in 1969 as did Sports Toto, followed by the Pan Malaysia Pools and Sabah 88 in 1988.
We have written about these Toto Malaysia games in great detail elsewhere on the website so that you can learn just how they work and find out the best places to check the latest Malaysia Toto results. A complete list of all the major lottery games from around the globe can also be found on our World Lottery page.
In this section on Lottery Malaysia we aim to provide a brief overview on all the primary Malaysia Lottery games – you can then click through and read in depth about your favourite game...

Power Toto 6/55 – SportsToto – Malaysia Sports Toto
Sports Toto Malaysia added a further game to their growing Toto Lotto portfolio in October 2009 – the Power Toto 6 55. Players need to select 6 numbers from a guess range of 1 to 55 to win from one of the 4 prize categories and – like Mega Toto – the jackpot grows or snowballs onto the next draw when it is not won. Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays are also the draw days for the Power Toto Malaysia with 2 Special Draws every month on Tuesdays.
The 3rd Toto Lotto to be introduced by Sports Toto Malaysia – the Supreme Toto 6 58 held its first draw in March 2010. As its name suggests it is designed to offer the biggest Malaysia Lottery jackpots of all and because of the wider range of numbers needed to choose from it offers the hardest odds of winning. These larger jackpots make it a very attractive game though and with a starting jackpot of a minmum of RM 8.88 MILLION and a highest Supreme Toto jackpot to date of RM 57,180,496.00 won in January 2012 – the Supreme Toto holds the record for producing the biggest Malaysia Lottery jackpot in history so far. It works in much the same way as the more common Toto Malaysia 4D games but DaMaCai 3D players must select a 3 Digit number from 000 to 999. You play using a bet type of either 'Big' – which has 3 winning numbers to match – or 'Small' which has just 1 winnng number to match but offers a bigger prize to win. The winning DMC 3D numbers are based on the last 3 digits of the winning 1 3D numbers and so the draw times of the 3D PMP and availability of the 3D results are the same as the 1 3D above.
1 + 3D Jackpot – Da Ma Cai – Pan Malaysia Pools
In November 2012 – the Pan Malaysia Pools and DaMaCai introduced a Jackpot version of their widely played 1 3D game. Playing the Da Ma Cai 1 3D Jackpot invloves selecting a pair of 4 Digit numbers from the number range of 0000 to 9999 to create your own 1 3D Jackpot number. There are 5 different prize levels and the winning numbers are based on the winning numbers drawn in the standard 1 3D game. The minimum 1st prize to be won is RM 2 MILLION and there is no limit to how big this can grow to as it will rollover onto the next draw if it is not won. The 1 3D Jackpot result can be found in the same way as the DMC 3D result and other DaMaCai results with the 1 3D Jackpot draw time being identical to those above.
3D Jackpot – Da Ma Cai – Pan Malaysia Pools
Another jackpot variation was launched by the Pan Malaysia Pools in March 2013 of the DMC 3D – the 3D Jackpot – offering players a further game with a top prize that will rollover when not won and with no upper limit. The DMC 3D Jackpot 1st prize is always a minimum of RM 600,000 and a record is waiting to be set as at the time of writing in March 2015 – the 3D Jackpot top prize stands at over RM 1.2 MILLION and is just waiting to be won. To play the DMC 3D Jackpot you have to choose 3 sets of 3 Digit numbers from the number range of 000 to 999 and the winning numbers are based on the 3D results for the same drawing. There are 3 categories of prizes to be won and the 3D jackpot results are also published on the official Da Ma Cai website on the same DMC draw days as the Pan Malaysia Pools games already mentioned.
DaMaCai Jackpot – Da Ma Cai – Pan Malaysia Pools
A more recent game introduced by the Pan Malaysia Pools is the DaMaCai Jackpot which was first drawn in Janaury 2014. The DMC Jackpot is designed to produce huge prizes and has a top prize that starts off at a minimum of RM 1.8 MILLION which will rollover if not won – and there is no limit to how big it can grow to. Currently – as of March 2015 – the Da Ma Cai Jackpot 1st prize is more than RM 12 MILLION and when someone chooses the correct winning numbers they will win a record prize for the game. DaMaCai Jackpot players must pick one 1 3D number followed by one 3D number – that is a 4 Digit number and then a 3 Digit number. There are 6 different ways to win and the DMC Jackpot winning numbers are based on the 1 3D results and 3D results. Just check the DaMaCai website for the latest DaMaCai Jackpot result.
Super 1 + 3D – Da Ma Cai – Pan Malaysia Pools
The latest game launched by the Pan Malaysia Pools is the Super 1 3D which is a variant of the original DaMaCai 1 3D being drawn in November 2014 for the first time. The same as when playing the 1 3D – you need to choose a 4 Digit number from 0000 to 9999 – but the difference with the Super 1 3D is that you will also need to pick a prize category to go with your number and there are no 'Big' or 'Small' bet types to choose from. The top prize to be won on the Super 1 3D is RM 6,500 and results are based on those of the standard 1 3D game. You win by matching the 4 Digit number in the exact order in which it was drawn in your chosen prize category. There are a total of 7 prize categories from which you can win on the Super 1 3D.
