LOTTO 649
The Lotto 649 is played right across Canada and is the richest and most played out of all the Canadian Lotteries offered by the Saskatchewan Lottery and Western Canada Lottery Corporation.
The county-wide Canadian Lottery – Lotto 649 – is well known for having produced the largest Canadian Lottery jackpot ever and – often – as many as 2 out of every 3 Canadians have bought lottery tickets for the game.
Lotto 649 from Canada’s ILC – the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation – is not only played in Canada these days but also by many people overseas – using authorised online lottery ticket sales companies.

Saskatchewan Lotteries sold tickets for the game from its beginning. The first jackpot available on the Lotto 649 was half a million Canadian dollars.
The first Lotto 649 draw took place on June 12th 1982 and it was the first Canadian Lottery game to allow players to select their own numbers. Previous Canadian Lotto games used pre-printed serial numbers on tickets but the introduction of the 649 Lottery made these older types of lottery tickets a thing of the past.
