"The Nebraska Lottery – the USA Lottery Co. from the State of Nebraska"
The Nebraska State Lottery was initially created back on February 24th 1993 after a 63% majority of the State’s population voted an overwhelming “Yes” in 1992 in favor of Nebraska having a State Lottery.
The NE Lottery is an agency of Nebraska State and is a division of the Nebraska State Revenue Department – becoming the 37th US Lottery company to be formed across the U.S.A.
Right from when the very first Nebraska Lotto ticket was sold back on September 11th 1993 – the aim of the Nebraska Lottery has been to provide Nebraskans with exciting and affordable lottery games at the same time as maximising profits for the State which will benefit its citizens.
Things are the same today – with NE Lottery profits going towards the areas of education and the environment.
The Nebraska State Lottery is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.
