Malaysia 4D – 4D Magnum
The most common Malaysia Lottery games are called Toto and the most popular of these are the 4D games – meaning 4 Digits – which are much the same as the Pick 4 games found with most US State Lottery companies.
One of the principal Malaysia Toto companies to offer these games is the Magnum Corpration which began its operations back in 1969 when it started offering its first Malaysia 4D Toto.

Magnum 4D CLASSIC – Overview
The
first of these Malaysia Lottery 4D games to mention from Magnum is the
Magnum 4D Classic which started in 1969, was Magnum’s first game and is
still going as strong today as when it first launched.
The
Magnum4D game is a typical 4 Digit game where you select a 4 digit
number out of a range of numbers from 0000 to 9999 and you win this
Toto Malaysia game if your chosen 4 Digit number correctly matches one or more of the winning 4D
numbers drawn.
There
are 23 winning 4D numbers drawn for every Magnum4D game. Out
of these there are 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize numbers plus 10 Special Prize
numbers and 10 Consolation Prize numbers.
You can choose to play the Magnum4D using either the “BIG” Forecast or the “SMALL” Forecast with a minimum bet of RM1.
To
explain this basically – the “BIG” Forecast gives you much better odds overall
of winning any cash prize but the “SMALL” Forecast will allow you to win a much bigger cash prize.
With
the “BIG” Forecast you are playing for the full 23 different 4D prize
categories whereas with the “SMALL” Forecast you are playing just for

Magnum 4D JACKPOT – Overview
The
second Toto Malaysia game to mention here is the Magnum 4D Jackpot – which the Magnum Corporation introduced on September 23rd 2009.
The
Magnum 4D Jackpot is a simple but very clever extension of the Magnum
4D Classic game and – as such – the Magnum 4D Jackpot results are based on the
Classic 4D Magnum results.
The
main difference with the Magnum4D Jackpot is that you pick TWO
separate 4 Digit numbers – from 0000 to 9999 – creating a pair
of numbers treated as one bet. The minimum cost is RM 2.
The
Magnum4D Jackpot offers you the chance of winning much larger sums of
money – into the multi-millions – and is very attractive indeed to
most Malaysia Lottery and Toto players.
The
top prize (Jackpot 1) is RM multi-millions and the 2nd prize (Jackpot
2) is always a minimum of RM 100,000. These top prizes rollover if they are not won and increase in size each time – and there is NO LIMIT at all to the size they can accumulate to.
You
will win the Magnum 4D Jackpot top prize (Jackpot 1) if both of your chosen pair of 4
Digit numbers successfully correspond with 2 out of the 3 winning numbers drawn for the top 3 prizes.
As

Magnum 4D Jackpot GOLD – Overview
The very latest game to have been introduced is the 4D Jackpot GOLD which the Magnum Corporation launched more recently on 8th November 2014.
The aim of the 4D Jackpot GOLD is to produce even bigger and more exciting jackpot figures to be won.
Playing the 4D Jackpot GOLD involves choosing 2 numbers separately – firstly the Trifecta Number then the Golden Number.
The Trifecta Number is comprised of 3 sets of numbers which are each made up of 2 Digits from 00 to 99 and then the Golden Number is 1 number made up of 2 Digits also from 00 to 19.
An example of a complete set of numbers chosen when you play the 4D jackpot GOLD is... 12, 33, 79 (Trifecta) and 15 (Golden).
If you correctly match both the Trifecta Number and the Golden Number then you will win the 4D Jackpot GOLD jackpot 1 prize which will always start off at a minimum of RM 2 MILLION.
If there are no winners of the 4D Jackpot GOLD jackpot 1 prize it will snowball – or rollover – making for an even bigger top prize to be won in the next draw. This continues until a winner is found.
Unusally the 4D Jackpot GOLD jackpot 2 prize – which will be a minimum of RM 100,000 – will also snowball when not won.
There are a total of 7 different prize levels on the 4D Jackpot GOLD which means there are thousands of prizes to be won.
The 4D Jackpot GOLD results are based on the standard Magnum 4D result from the same draw and this works as follows...
The first 2 Digit Number of the Trifecta Number will be the same as the last 2 Digits of the Magnum4D 1st Prize winning number.
The second 2 Digit Number of the Trifecta Number will match the last 2 Digits of the Magnum4D 2nd Prize winning number.
The third 2 Digit Number of the Trifecta Number will be the same as the last 2 Digits of the Magnum4D 3rd Prize winning number.
The winning Golden Number is then determined as follows...
The first digit of the Golden Number will be 0 if the first digit of the Magnum4D 1st Prize winning number is between 0 and 4.
The first digit of the Golden Number will be 1 if the first digit of the Magnum4D 1st prize winning number is between 5 and 9.
The second digit of the Golden Number will always be the same as the second digit of the 1st prize Magnum4D winning number.
