Yukon Lotteries – Overview
Yukon Lotteries sold within the province consist of those Canadian Lotteries run and organized by the regional Western Canada Lottery Corporation – WCLC – of which Lotteries Yukon is a member alongside Saskatchewan Lotteries, Manitoba Lotteries, plus Alberta Lottery and the Northwest Territories’ company – Sport North.
As a member of the Western Canada Lottery Corporation – WCLC – the Manitoba Lotteries Corporation are also members of the ILC –Canada’s Interprovincial Lottery Corporation which organize and run the national Candian Lottery games.
So, in addition to regional Canadian Lotteries such as the Western 649 from the Western Canada Lottery Corporation – the Lotteries Yukon portfolio includes country-wide games run by the ILC – Interprovincial Lottery Corporation – currently the Lotto 649 and the very recent Lotto MAX game.
Another national Canadian Lottery from the ILC that was sold through all Lotteries Yukon retailers was the Lotto Super 7 from May 1994 until it was discontinued in September 2009 to make way for the Lotto MAX.
