Arkansas Lottery Powerball
The Arkansas Lottery is 1 of 47 US State Lotteries & District Lotteries that offer the Powerball game – in this case the Arkansas Powerball – as part of its overall portfolio of lottery games.

AR Powerball – How it Works
The Arkansas Powerball works in the same way as the Powerball game works in all the States and Districts across the United States of America that offer the game.
Jackpots start off at US$ 40 Million and rollover after each draw when the top prize is not won – increasing in size each time by at least US$ 10 Million – making for some huge jackpot figures.
6 numbers are drawn in total for the AR Powerball game from 2 separate drawing machines – firstly 5 numbers from 69 white balls are drawn followed by 1 number (the Powerball) from 26 red balls.
Draws for the Arkansas Lottery Powerball take place twice every week on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10.59pm EST with the Powerball winning numbers being displayed after each draw on the myarkansaslottery website.
There is also a Powerball prize multiplier facility available when playing that dramatically increases the size of a Powerball win and is called Powerball POWERPLAY.
POWERPLAY…

1. Pick 5 of your own main (white ball) numbers from 1 to 69 plus your 1 Power Ball (red ball) number from 1 to 26.

POWERPLAY…

AR Powerball – Record Jackpots
The biggest win on the Arkansas Powerball to date was won on a ticket sold in Mayflower in the January 2nd 2010 draw. The lucky winner scooped US$ 25 Million – elected to keep their name private and decided to take the cash lump sum on offer of US$ 12,153,621.78.
AR Powerball – How Prizes are Paid
If you have won an Arkansas Powerball jackpot – you will be able to claim your prize as either a cash lump sum or as an annuity payment – you will need to make this choice within 60 days of making your claim.
If you choose the annuity option – your Arkansas Lottery Powerball winnings will be paid to you as 30 payments over a period of 29 years.
For all prizes on the AR Powerball – you will have 180 days from the date of the draw taking place – to make your claim before your Powerball ticket will become invalid.
If your win on the AR Powerball is up to US$ 500 – you will be able to claim your winnings at any Arkansas Scholarship Lottery retailer or by mail.
If you’ve had a win of more than US$ 500 on the AR Powerball – you can claim your prize any of the Arkansas State Lottery regional offices in Little Rock, Springdale, Jonesboro or Camden or by mail.
